His proven sales results began in his corporate career with 10+ years of experience working with multi-million dollar companies.He honed his sales skills by growing smaller clients into robust accounts and working hard to surpass his sales targets. He began his real estate career part-time in 2015, and within a short time, he fell in love with the people, the pace of work, and the opportunities the industry presented. He decided to jump into real estate full-time and has developed expertise in residential real estate, new builds, land development, and investing. With tenacity, Rene pursued real estate and became successful working with teams of talented people. He founded Team Rene to exercise his business philosophy of honesty, integrity, and transparency with a unique hands-on approach. He understands that working with your clients to serve their needs is where you see the greatest reward. Rene is passionate about staying one step ahead of the competition and has become an expert in advising, negotiating, and consulting to ensure the best results. Rene loves to travel and spend time with his wife and kids. He treasures the time they spend together playing games, activities, and eating delicious food. He loves to stay fit, coach multiple sports teams, and play in basketball leagues. He is a lover of all types of food, and a bottle of fine wine is always welcome at his table!
When you meet Mike, it’s immediately apparent he’s passionate about igniting joy in others. Mike spent 11 years as a Waterloo Region police officer, working as a patrol officer & a school resource officer. Upon examination of his career, he discovered the most rewarding aspect was helping people. He transitioned into Real Estate to participate in the joy of finding dream homes for his clients while elevating their Real Estate experience. Mike completed a degree in media studies at the University of Guelph and a diploma in public relations at Humber College before completing his Real Estate license. Growing up in St. Catherine’s and having lived in Burlington and Waterdown for many years, he is familiar with these areas and is ready to bring the best of what they have to offer to his valued clients. In his spare time, you will find Mike relaxing on the golf course or creating in his woodshop.
Rosie welcomes clients with open arms and always has their best interest at heart. She is well known for understanding her client’s needs and working to ensure those needs are met. She has over 15 years of experience in the fast-paced & highly regulated Pharmaceutical industry. She worked as a liaison for top-tier suppliers managing complex relationships between Suppliers and Vendors with strict regulations. As Business Manager for Team Rene, she is thrilled to bring her expertise, attention to detail & outside-in approach to the real estate industry. Rosie ensures that the team plans and achieves its goals by customizing to the client’s needs/wants. She believes that the more she immerses herself in the minds of the clients, it will always separate Team Rene vs. others in the industry. With a gift for ensuring even the smallest details are taken care of, her passion for solving problems allows her to shine in a role managing multiple projects with integrity and honesty leading the way. She is an exceptional team member taking great pride each time property keys are exchanged and knowing that she helped put smiles on the client’s faces.
Chantel Silveira joins Team Rene from an extensive background in customer service, having worked as a client care coordinator for a Burlington real estate team, and as Director of Communications for the KW Edge office. In this capacity, Chantel came to learn every stage of a transaction, which she considers essential in the professional guidance of a real estate investment. Her infectious personality and warm smile immediately offer her clients a welcoming introduction to her passion for serving their real estate interests. Educated with a degree from McMaster University in Social Psychology, Chantel truly understands how to regulate the emotional highs and lows often associated with the buying and selling process. She looks forward to helping her clients navigate the real estate market from an experienced, informed, and genuinely concerned perspective.

Ashleen Mohaupt capitalizes on her sense of style and creative spirit as Team Rene’s graphic designer/ social media coordinator. As a graduate of Brock University in the Bachelor of Visual Arts, Ash’s eye for detail ensures that all printed and media layouts represent the very best features of your home! Her recent acquisition of her Staging License also situates her well to ensure that she chooses the best photographs to showcase homes to grab the attention of suitable buyers! She is no stranger to Real Estate and has experience as an administrator at a large company. Growing up, Ash spent more than 15 years competing as a cheerleader in the Waterloo Region. These experiences helped shape the person she is today. Cheerleading has taught her the value of teamwork; if one person doesn’t do their part, an entire pyramid falls down. As a committed member of Team Rene, Ash will always bring her A-game. Cheerleading can also be credited for Ash’s competitive spirit.
